The Azerbaijan Trade House in Lahore proudly shares the highlights of a landmark meeting with the 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧–𝐀𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 (𝐏𝐅𝐆), 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐍𝐀 𝐒𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐳𝐚 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐆𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢. This meeting marked a new chapter in our journey to expand bilateral trade, investment, and strategic cooperation between the two brotherly nations.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐣𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭, 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 – 𝐀𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞, engaged in forward-looking discussions with PFG members focused on enhancing cooperation across key sectors including agriculture, information technology, healthcare, education, and infrastructure. The dialogue reflected a shared commitment to transforming opportunities into tangible outcomes.

Participants emphasized the urgent need to diversify trade, address tariff and non-tariff barriers, and develop formal banking and investment channels to simplify cross-border business. The Azerbaijan Trade House was recognized as a crucial bridge linking the business communities of both countries.

The strategic importance of the North–South Corridor was also underscored, positioning it as a powerful route to boost regional trade, logistics, and connectivity.

Both parties agreed to collaborate with Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission (HEC) to initiate scholarship programs that strengthen academic ties and foster innovation. The upcoming Turkic Trade Fair (June 10–12) was welcomed as a key platform for showcasing joint ventures, networking, and unlocking fresh opportunities.

The PFG reaffirmed its support in coordinating with TDAP, the Board of Investment, and key ministries to institutionalize this growing economic partnership. An annual review mechanism was proposed to track milestones and ensure sustained progress.

This meeting reflects a renewed spirit of friendship, optimism, and purpose between Pakistan and Azerbaijan—guided by visionary leadership and a shared ambition for a prosperous future.
