Azerbaijan and Pakistan Explore New Trade Horizons at High-Level Meeting

In a significant move to strengthen economic cooperation, His Excellency Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, and Mr. Adeel Shuja Butt, President of the Azerbaijan Trade House, held strategic discussions with Mr. Shafay Hussain, Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment. The high-level meeting focused on expanding bilateral trade opportunities between the two nations.

The talks centered on concrete measures to enhance commercial relations, with both sides expressing optimism about establishing meaningful business collaborations. This engagement comes at a pivotal moment as Azerbaijan prepares to host the Turkic Trade Fair 2025 in Baku – the largest business gathering of the Turkic world.

The upcoming trade fair presents a valuable platform for Pakistani businesses to connect with partners across the Turkic nations. Officials emphasized the fair’s potential to unlock new avenues for trade and investment, further solidifying Pakistan-Azerbaijan economic ties. These developments mark an important step in fostering deeper economic integration between the two countries and positioning Pakistani enterprises in the growing Turkic economic sphere.
