In a significant development aimed at enhancing bilateral relations, His Excellency Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, and Mr. Adeel Shuja Butt, President of the Azerbaijan Trade House, embarked on a strategic visit to explore new trade opportunities and strengthen ties between the two nations. Their engagements underscored the growing economic and cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
The delegation’s visit to the Punjab Assembly proved particularly fruitful, featuring constructive discussions with key provincial leaders. The high-level meetings included exchanges with Ms. Azma Bukhari, Punjab’s Minister for Information & Culture; Mr. Malik Ahmad Khan, Speaker of the Punjab Assembly; Mr. Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Finance Minister of Punjab; and Mr. Ali Musa Gilani, Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee. These discussions focused on identifying mutually beneficial trade prospects, facilitating investment opportunities, and promoting cultural exchanges between Azerbaijan and Punjab.
