Expanding Digital Trade Frontiers: Azexport Meets with Turkish and Pakistani Representatives

A key meeting was held between the leadership of the “Azexport” portal—operating under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of Azerbaijan—and representatives from Pakistan and Turkey to discuss digital trade opportunities and cross-border collaboration.

During the meeting, Mr. Aykhan Gadashov, Head of the Azexport portal, delivered an in-depth presentation showcasing the portal’s innovative digital solutions designed to promote Azerbaijani products in international markets. He highlighted the portal’s role as a bridge between local producers and global buyers, streamlining the export process through digital tools and international partnerships.

One of the main highlights of the discussion was the ongoing development of a digital exhibition hall, where Azexport is currently working to create digital stands for 10 Azerbaijani companies, with a broader pilot program aimed at 100 companies from Turkic states. This initiative reflects a forward-thinking approach to modern trade promotion and regional economic integration.

Mr. Gadashov also shared insights into the portal’s operational model, including its collaborations with major international e-commerce platforms, enabling Azerbaijani businesses to access a wider global audience.

The meeting underlined the shared commitment of all parties to digital transformation in trade and opened the door for deeper engagement between Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan in the realm of e-commerce and export innovation.
